Random I-Tunes Song of The Moment: A World Of Fantasy by Triumph

I could just simply give you five words that should make you go purchase this:

Less than ten bucks, Daryl.

But if those five words aren't enough . . . how 'bout this:

I really like what this series is attempting to do. Murphy's Magic and Daryl are trying to reconnect us to our roots. Get back to the basics . . . the elegant simplicity of wonder and of magic. This particular DVD is certainly very much geared for the beginner more so than any of the other Essentials in Magic DVDs I've reviewed.

However, working pros, I think you should spend the ten bucks just to support the mission of this project. If you have children, friends, family, etc. who are just starting out in magic, this DVD is PERFECT!

It teaches a very simple cups and balls routine with paper cups and paper balls, a super easy ring and rope trick, a very good self working card trick and more. Throughout the DVD, there are various plugs for other DVDs in the collection. You're given several simple handlings for classics in magic, with an invitation to take things further by checking out the other DVDs in this series.

For a beginner, those DVDs and this one in particular are an absolute MUST. All you working pros . . . particularly those over 40, you should get this DVD just for the trip down memory lane. You'll remember your first childhood interest in magic while you watch this, and it will inspire you to teach a new generation PROPERLY.

Final Verdict:
4.5 Stars with a Stone Status of GEM.
