For $40 (wow . . . that's a lot) you get a well made gimmick and a poorly made DVD

The effect is beautiful, deceptive and uses a very well made (I'm assuming hand-made) gimmick. The DVD quality is pretty poor, and the teaching isn't as clear as it could be - no words are used . . . just music and camera angles.

However, if you like the effect - I Do - it's probably worth it to buy this just for the gimmick. I can't tell you if you'll do it . . . watch the demo and decide for yourself. All I can tell you is that the effect is exactly as seen in the demo. The ad copy is 100% honest and accurate, and the gimmick is very well made.

Based on all of that it's kind of hard not to give this a Siskel AND an Ebert!
