Random I-Tunes Song of The Moment: Shake Me by Cinderella

I like Magic Dave. I like his shows, and I like his philosophy on running a magic business, and I really liked his DVD, Party Time With Magic Dave. However, I just don't feel this DVD is worth getting. Sure there are a few pointers and ideas here and there, but mainly you're paying $40.00 bucks for a product demo.

Basically imagine watching a clip of a children's show performer doing a trick/routine. Then immediately after that, re-performing it at the camera in a more choppy way. That's basically what you're getting.

If you're a bit curious about how some of the props work and you don't want to actually buy the prop, then this might be a decent value for you. Also, Dave does mention a few different sources for getting good props, but overall, I'd say that if you're looking for a good video on improving your children's act, you'll probably want to pass on this one.

If you're new to children's entertainment, then I'd recommend either Party Time With Magic Dave or The King of Custard. Both DVDs are $40.00 bucks as well. For the money, you're better off with one of the aforementioned products.

Final Verdict:
2 Stars with a Stone Status of grubble (mostly rubble with a hint of inclining toward maybe a little bit of gem with a really tiny "b")
