Random I-Tunes Song of The Moment: You Don't Know Love by Janie Fricke
Deceased Review
One DVD, one bonus video, 12 photographs, one black envelope, $26 bucks and one Deceased Review. Is it gem or is it rubble? Stay tuned to find out.
Deceased Review: Effect
If ever there was a story piece, this is it. It comes from what's being called The Dark Series. This is the first effect from the series. In the simplest terms, the spectator randomly selects the killers of a bloody massacre that "really happened." Watch the ad trailer to get a better sense of what's going on.
Deceased Review: Method
If you're familiar with an old effect called What A Turn Up by Kaymar Magic, then you know, pretty much, the method here. However, there is a slight change made to the method by Jamie Daws that adds an extra level of sneaky-ness to the procedure. The cards are ungimmicked. It's all in the handling of them which is (albeit a bit procedural) very, very fair feeling. All skill levels may apply.
Deceased Review: Ad Copy Integrity
The ad copy is 100% accurate. In fact, frankly, it gives too much detail. It's very transparent and fair, honest and accurate. The video trailer is also totally honest and accurate.
Deceased Review: Product Quality
The photos provided are beautifully well made. They are about a half inch shorter than the length of a business card and just a hair narrower than a business card. The training DVD is very thorough. Plus you get a bonus that shows you how to age the cards as well. Everything is solid here folks.
Deceased Review: Final Thoughts
This is another short, sweet, and easy review. If you like the effect at all, then this is a no brainer. Plus, $26 bucks for the photos and all the training . . . that's no brainer number 2.
This is one where you'll probably get more out of the video review rather than the written review.
Final Verdict:
5 Stars with a Stone Status of GEM!

Jeff my friend, You’s got some coding issues and the advertiser trailer is set to private.
Thanks for another great review
@Steven – Thanks for the note. All is fixed.

Hi Jeff,
Great review !! Agree 100% that this is superb and with other releases in the ‘Dark Series’ by the same creator I can’t wait for the next one (May 2016 I think).
Where have you been? Great to have you back bro !!
Hey Jeff,
Thanks for the review. Not that I do much of this kind of stuff. But if you are it looks like it would be a winner.
@Alan – I like the presentation mostly. I’ll be using the presentation with a different effect, and I’ll be using the cards for yet another (different) effect. 🙂
Hi Jeff,
I love The Deceased…
Your review made me buy the trick at the BMA in Brussels where I met The Dark Wizard in person on his stand.
Great and fine man this Peter Nardi, by the the way.
When will you be reviewing SCREAM?
Thank you for all your clear, nice, objective and detailed reviews.
I am a fan!
Stephane.
