Random I-Tunes Song of The Moment: When I Look Into Your Eyes By Firehouse

For $15 bucks you get a good and visual solution to a 3 fly routine that is using nothing original . . . just good combinations.

Gabbay has combined (and thoroughly credited) a series of moves and ideas and a standard coin gimmick to create a well thought out and smooth flowing routine. Oftentimes when I receive a DVD that's "Burned" rather than "Pressed" I assume that the quality will be poor . . . usually I'm right, but not this time. The lighting was excellent. Gabbay sounded great, and I could actually see the effect very clearly. Many coin DVDs I review have lighting issues, and I can't even see what the effect is.

Thank you Mr. Gabbay for being above that and producing a solid top notch DVD.

The routine itself can be seen in the preview. It's a standard looking 3 coins across at the fingertips routine (i.e., 3 Fly). However, Gabbay's combination of methods, techniques and gimmicks make this one of the cleaner looking versions out there.

If you're ever recruited to perform at a nudist colony, this routine will fit right in. The only issue I have with the routine is the final vanish. It's a bit more angle-sensitive than I'm personally comfortable with. Also, there is one move that requires you fingers to be moist (mine are anything but moist). He suggests that you can use spit, but the problem is that you are in a position of holding the coins in a certain way that makes it impossible to moisten your fingers without looking like you're trying elicit some sort of inappropriate response from the coins or the spectators.

Gabbay doesn't really address how to handle this.

That aside, the method for this is solid, starts clean (looking), and ends clean (looking). It really is a great solution for the plot, and the ad copy is absolutely accurate.

Final Verdict:
4.5 stars with a Stone Status of GEM.
