Random I-Tunes Song of The Moment: Stop The World (And Let Me Off) by Patsy Cline

The Essentials In Magic Series:

For Less than $10 bucks you get an incredible deal. This series of DVDs is one of the best "bangs for your buck" in magic today.

First of All, you get Daryl . . . one of the best teachers in magic. He's fun to watch and he makes learning whatever he teaches very easy.

Here's how I look at it . . . if it only cost me $10 bucks to learn how to make cat liver pate and Daryl's teaching . . . I'm buyin'.

The Invisible Deck:

Yet another hugely successful DVD from this product line. Everything and more that you'd ever want to know about the Invisible Deck. There are several excellent presentational ideas taught on here. Again, I was inspired to want to break out the Invisible Deck again. You'll learn how the deck works, various ways to set it up (if you don't like the way it comes out of the box), including a way that I independently discovered. You'll learn how to handle the cards, subtle techniques to "prove" that the deck is legitimate. As with the others in this series, it's meant for the working pro and the beginner. The only complaint I have is that this DVD was very much like Jay Sankey's DVD, Invisible that was released circa 2007. A lot (over 50%) of the material in Daryl's DVD is also in Jay's DVD. Plus Jay's comes with an Invisible deck, and has a ton more material (it's 2 hours long vs. Daryl's 1 hour).

That said, I still highly recommend this DVD. It's got a ton of great content, and it's only ten bucks (compared to Jay's $25 - but again, Jay's is twice as long and includes the deck).

On it's own, this DVD is still a highly recommended Gem, but not quite five stars like the others due to the duplicated content.

Whether you've never seen The Invisible Deck or you've been using one your entire life or you used to use it but threw it in "the drawer," I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Final Verdict:
4 Stars with a Stone Status of Complete and Total GEM!
